En plus des \u00e9coles, 4 groupes de l\u2019IME de St-Junien, le Ram de Janailhac, des habitants du territoire et des touristes ont pris \u00e9galement part au projet. En tout, ce sont 628 personnes qui ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 cette r\u00e9sidence de m\u00e9diation\/cr\u00e9ation. Les artistes ont accompagn\u00e9 les participants sur la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un four dragon et d\u2019un four bouteilles en utilisant la terre de Puycheny. Elles ont \u00e9galement anim\u00e9 des m\u00e9diations autour de l\u2019empreinte et de la planche \u00e0 barbotine en verticale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main objectives of this residency were to bring together diverse audiences from the same area around a shared creative project combining Art, Culture and Heritage, and to create an artistic event that would serve as a common thread throughout the activities offered from spring until the end of the residency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On 24 and 25 July 2021, the residency culminated in a public event: two afternoons open to all. The programme included the firing of the dragon and bottle kilns, a free clay modelling workshop open to everyone, screenings of videos created by the artists under the drying sheds, an exhibition of the pieces produced throughout the residency, and guided tours of the former Aupeix tile works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A total of 250 people visited the site during these two afternoons.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Artist Residency \u2013 Mathilde Sauce<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">October 4 - 22, 2021<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of this residency, Mathilde SAUCE created sculptures and roof finials in a range of scales, with organic and lively forms, using Puycheny clay and clay collected directly from the heathland to achieve a variety of colours and textures. Elle est arriv\u00e9e une premi\u00e8re fois en f\u00e9vrier 2023 \u00e0 l\u2019Atelier-Mus\u00e9e de la Terre pour y d\u00e9poser ses valises et sa remorque pendant deux jours. Nous avons travaill\u00e9 avec elle sur le visage, les empreintes, le modelage du corps et nous avons invit\u00e9 les visiteurs \u00e0 prendre part \u00e0 cette aventure argilo-po\u00e9tico-artistique !\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Her \u201cmobile sculpture studio\u201d, set up in the workshop, offered a new perspective on working with Puycheny clay.
